Description

The Shopify Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing high-quality web solutions that enhance AVI’s digital ecosystem. You will collaborate with business users and technical analysts to translate functional requirements into scalable Shopify solutions. The role involves both creative and technical problem-solving — ensuring smooth, engaging, and high-performing online experiences across AVI’s portfolio of brands

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy web solutions that showcase AVI’s brands and drive e-commerce engagement
• Configure and manage Shopify store environments, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications using: Liquid, JavaScript (NodeJS), GraphQL, Shopify CLI, React, JSON, Ajax, and GitHub
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimise websites for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with internal business teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Partner with third-party vendors where required to support website operations and enhancements
• Continuously monitor website analytics and performance to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Information Technology
